IFK/IFE INKOFLEX Coupling

In this 3 Steel Rings, ‘Patent Applied for’, Coupling design, a number of spring wrapped Drive Pins, fitted with end-stop & support washers, protrude through equi-spaced/sized holes, on a large PCD, in the centre Disc; each, alternately facing the opposite direction. Thereby, half of these pins are fixed to one End Disc, with the remainder fixed to the other End Disc.
Resultant characteristics offer a relatively high torsionally stiff, synchronized, drive connector, accommodating all misalignments.

In its single Disc form, the ‘IFE’ version can be attached to the ‘PK’ OFFSET coupling to provide some angular misalignment capacity, when shafts cannot be guaranteed to remain parallel.

Shaft connections are via: (Std.) Flanged, or Bossed End Discs

The Range accommodates:
  • Normal Torques (TStat): Up to 148,500Nm, (though misalignments reduce capacity – see Cat. Tables).
  • Maximum Angular Misalignment: Up to 5°; Radial Offset: Up to 1mm, and Axial Float: Up to 2.5mm.
